Next Tuesday: From 9/11 to Abu Ghraib

SEYMOUR HERSH, the American Pulitzer Prize winning investigative journalist and author whose work appears regularly in the New Yorker, will appear this Tuesday November 13 at UC Irvine.



The recipient of five George Polk awards, Hersh first gained worldwide recognition during the Vietnam War. In 1969 he exposed the My Lai massacre and its cover-up for which he received the 1970 Pulitzer Prize.

Most recently, his 2004 reports on the US military's mistreatment of detainees at Abu Ghraib prison gained much attention.

Seymour Hersh will speak on "The Road from 9/11 to Abu Ghraib" on Tuesday November 13 at 7:30 PM in the Lucille Keuhn Auditorium of the Humanities Instructional Building at UCI.

The event is free and open to the public. Parking is $7.00.
