Get up early tomorrow and head north for a day of readings, panel discussion and talks, browse the booths of booksellers and enjoy the first days of our Indian summer - all free and all held on the beautiful grounds of West Hollywood Park.
The 7th annual West Hollywood Book fair begins at 10 and last until 6.
Check out the programming details and directions by clicking here. There's much to choose from, inclduing programming for children and young adults.
Highlights include appearances by Ray Bradbury, Janet Fitch, Robert Scheer, Herbert Gold, Francesca Lia Block and Orange County's own Gustavo Arellano. I'll be appearing on the early morning panel, Latinos in Lotusland with Daniel Olivas, Reyna Grande and Sandra Ramos O'Briant. Andrew Tonkovich will appear later in the afternoon with LA Times book editor David Ulin on a panel devoted to Book Culture.
Should be fun.
