Beginning Sunday April 5th and running through May 17th, the Irvine Ranch Conservancy will host a weekly writing workshop guided by poet, college writing professor and Irvine Ranch docent Thea Gavin.
They'll meet on Sundays from 4-6 PM at various sites on the old Irvine Ranch - Fremont, Blackstar and Limestone canyons. One Mother's Day weekend, they'll gather on Saturday instead. (No workshop Easter weekend.) Workshop dates: 4/4,4/19, 4/26, 5/3, 5/9, 5/17. The workshop is limited to 12 participants.
And it's free!
from their flyer:
Our goal is to pay close attention and then compellingly present what we see, hear, smell and feel in these wonderful places.
Our method: a variety of wandering and writing exercises, with plnety of time to share and discuss our works-in-progress in a congenial workshop setting.
