Literary Orange: Ron Carlson on KOCE

Ron Carlson, Director of the Programs in Writing, will appear on KOCE’s Real Orange this Wednesday, March 4th to promote the third annual Literary Orange which occurs on Saturday, April 4th at the UC Irvine Student Center. Literary Orange 2009 is Orange County’s premier literary event, where authors, passionate readers and committed libraries join together for a day-long celebration of literature in all its guises.

Co-sponsored by the OC Public Libraries and the UC Irvine Libraries, this year’s event will feature many writers from the School of Humanities, including keynote speaker Ron Carlson, Michelle Latiolais, Barry Siegel, Mike Sager and Colette LaBouff Atkinson.

Tune in to hear Carlson and OC Public Libraries Assistant County Librarian, Paula Bruce, give a sneak peak into what organizers have planned for the 2009 program. Real Orange airs airs on KOCE-TV public television, weeknights at 6:30 and 11:00 PM, and weekday mornings at 8:00 AM.
