Each of us standing at a particular
Spot we favor — our own location
Along the mortal shore.

Scanning the horizon.
                    There it is!
We watch the boat of the Book
Float by.
                    All our beloveds on board.
Waving from the deck,
Calling out our name.
Some of them singing.
                     Some just
Gazing at us with that look we loved.
