Have you heard of Literary Orange? Its an annual event by UC Irvine Libraries and OC Public Libraries that celebrates the literary lifestyle. Check out a press release about it at http://www.free-press-release.com/news/200901/1233168062.html or visit www.literaryorange.org

Anon,

Please note that she has posted about Literary Orange on the sidebar...

By the way, are there any student rates or discount rate for Literary Orange?

It's a bit pricey - that's why I've never gone.

Bradbury inspires, from my first reading of Dandelion Wine at age 10, when I snuck into the adult stacks at the Corona del Mar public library, to a recent rereading of "The Toynbee Convector." How could anyone have passed up free tickets last night? The author was as entertaining as his work - may he live forever!

BTW, Literary Orange tickets are much less this year, and all-day volunteers get in free (except for parking)!
