Tomorrow, Sunday May 3, Laguna Beach Books will host a DimeStories Showcase, with special host Amy Wallen.
This reading is part of the ongoing series at Laguna (hosted by Meredith Resnick) which is inspired by Wallen's series in San Diego. Each story is no more than 3 minutes long - approximately 600 words. Some showcase selections will be considered for inclusion in a potential radio show under development by a National Public Radio producer.
Among the locals showcased tomorrow are Ben Lang, Susan Matthewson and Meredith Resnick.
Sunday May 10 is the next regular Dime Stories Open Mic with sign-ups beginning at 4:30.
A $5 donation at the door is welcome (to cover incidentals and to keep the fun going).
